Military Reserve Mobilized Before Nationwide Anti-Monarchy Rallies

Conservative state leaders in several US states have assigned National Guard units on alert preparing for widespread gatherings opposing Donald Trump and his initiatives.

Demonstration Scale and Organization

Planners of the "Anti-Monarchy" initiative announced that events are arranged at more than 2,500 sites around the country.

As per demonstration coordinators, the last Anti-Monarchy event in June attracted exceeding five million participants opposing Trump's policy direction.

Regional Measures

State leaders in the Lone Star State and Virginia have officially deployed their local National Guard units, though the degree of defense involvement remains unknown.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott referenced the "organized far-left associated protest" as justification for activating regional forces.

Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin likewise authorized deployment of the commonwealth's National Guard forces.

Partisan Statements

Demonstration leaders portrayed the assemblies as challenge to Trump's "authoritarianism."

"The administration considers his power is absolute," participants argue on their online platform.

"But in this country, we reject kings and we refuse to yield against disorder, dishonesty, and brutality."

Various GOP members have labeled the protests as "Unpatriotic" assemblies.

Kansas Senator Roger Marshall according to sources commented before the protests: "We must get the National Guard."

"Ideally it'll be peaceful. I'm skeptical," he added.

Opposition Response

Opposition officials condemned the deployment of state forces.

Texas Democrat Gene Wu argued: "Sending weapon-carrying military personnel to suppress calm demonstrations is precisely what dictators and dictators do — and Greg Abbott just demonstrated he's one of them."
